MAGIC

Magic was originally found in a shopping cart outside of a vet's office when he was four weeks old. From day one he had bad diarrhea; we tried all the conventional medications but nothing worked. We did many tests, and discovered he had H. Pylori bacteria (which is the bacteria that causes ulcers in humans). He was treated for this, but at that point the damage to his intestinal tract was severe, and he was diagnosed with IBD.

Magic is an amazing cat and he adores everyone he meets. At one time he was a therapy cat that used to visit hospitals and senior citizen homes, but when the diarrhea became increasingly worse he had to stop doing his "job", and became very depressed. Then we discovered he adored all animals, and became the "foster dad" for any orphan that we rescued (including a rabbit, squirrel, puppy, and of course, kittens). He lies for hours with the babies, grooming and loving on them, making them feel special, and doing all he can to comfort them.

Magic is on daily medications for his IBD and on a special diet as well. We decided to try him on Feline's Pride, which is a raw food diet (see our link on the home page). He is doing very well on this diet, and we recommend it for any cat! This sweet and gentle boy has been such a comfort to so many, both human and animal and now he's asking for your help to keep him happy and healthy for many years to come, so that he may continue to be "foster dad" to the many animal orphans that need him.
